The 944 square meter home, designed as a minimalist interpretation of a modern Mediterranean home, comes with 5 bedrooms, 4.5 baths, and a high tech twist. 48 solar arrays line the roof to provide a significant reduction in power from the grid. The Yucatan Peninsula has many hot and humid days so, to minimize electricity use, the home uses traditional cooling methods by harnessing cross-ventilation winds to keep the home naturally ventilated.
